The New York Mets MasterCard is offered by Bank of America. There is no annual fees using this card and you will receive cash prizes regardless of where you make purchases. Cardholders receive 1% cash back on their daily purchases, 2% on purchase of wholesales and 3% on purchase of fuel, this is a solid reward program and you will enjoy an introductory 0% APR for the first 12 months.
Features of the New York Mets Mastercard
Every $1 spent earns a user 1%, and every $1 user spends on shopping earns 2% cashback, subsequently every $1 spent on a gas purchase, the user earns a 3% Cash Back
After registering the purchase bonus of $500 (within 90 days after opening the account), the user receives 100 bonuses for prizes, 0% APR for the first 12 payment cycles for purchases and balance transfers within the first 60 days
Annual fee of $0
Cash Advance APR of 16.24% to 25.24% based on creditworthiness for direct payment of cash and the progress of 25.24% for bank credits (APR can be changed)
Cash Advance Fee of $10 or 3% on the value of each transaction, (direct deposits and cash advances), 10% or 5% on each transaction, (on ATM – online and cash withdrawals)
Shipping costs is up to $ 37
Purchase APR is 13.24% to 23.24% depending on the creditworthiness
Requirements
To be eligible for this credit card, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid Social Security number
- Applicants must have a valid U.S. address
How to Apply
Step 1 –From the home page, there is an Apply Now button found near the top of the page. Click on that to continue.
Step 2 – The first part of the application form is where you get to choose your card type. Click on the drop-down menu labeled Choose your card, and select the New York Mets from the list.
Step 3 – Next, you’ll start filling out the application form. The first section has you entering the following information: Full name, Physical address, Phone number, Email address, Country of citizenship, Country of residence, Date of birth
Step 4 – It is necessary for them to gather some financial data from you. This will include your Employment status, Total annual income, Source of income and Monthly housing payment.
Step 5 – This section only applies to those wishing to make a balance transfer to their new credit card. Tick the box next to Transfer a balance to my new credit card and enter the balance transfer information.
Step 6 – Finally, you’ll need to read through the terms and conditions before ticking the box declaring that you have read and fully understand them. Click the Review your information button to proceed to the subsequent page where you will be able to ensure that all the info provided is accurate, then submit your application for review
Login to the New York Mets MasterCard
From the homepage, On the left of the screen, you’ll find a red Secure Sign-in box where you can enter your login information. Once you’ve entered your Online ID and Passcode, click Sign In.
Forgot password?
Click the Forgot ID or Forgot Passcode link, both processes are almost identical, as you see in the windows below. You must enter your card or account number, your social security or tax ID number, as well as your Online ID, or Passcode (depending on which one you have forgotten). Click Continue to regain access to your online banking account.
To Activate the card
To get your credit card activated, Call 1 (800) 276-9939 and a Bank of America customer representative will walk you through this process. Once completed, it would be wise to register for an online banking account with Bank of America. Click the Secure Registration link below the activation number in order to access the registration page. To start the enrollment process, provide your card number (or account number), submit your SSN (or TIN) and click Continue.
