This is a good credit card option for you, to apply for a Southwest Visa credit card, you must complete a series of forms provided. It has a sign-up bonus of 3,000 points/year given on the year, 2 points/$1 spent at Southwest Airlines, 2 points/$1 spent at partner hotels and car rental agencies, 1 point/$1 spent on all other purchases.

A signup bonus of 25,000 points can be earned if $1,000 is spent within the first three months of opening the card account.

It has a Cash Advance APR is set at 24.99% APR

Cash Advance Fee is $10 or 5%, whichever is greater

Late Payment Fee is $15 if the balance is less than $100, $25 if the balance is between $100 and $250, $35 if the balance is above $250

Purchases APR is set at 15.99% APR

Requirements

To be eligible to receive this card, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid social security number
  • Be able to provide basic financial information.

How to Apply for Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa credit card

Step 1 – Go to the homepage. This page will require an applicant to provide his or her Personal information

Step 2- Potential cardholders must now provide their financial information to continue with the application process

Step 3- The applicant must now provide their most confidential personal data. To fully understand the use and storage of this information, it is recommended that the applicant review the Conditions (Plus / Premier) that apply to the Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa credit card.

Step 4- The applicant has the option of adding another cardholder to the account, for each named person a unique card is created.

Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa Credit Card Login

To log in, the cardholder must visit the website and enter their user ID and password, at which time they will have access to the cardholder’s portal. In the event that the cardholder loses or forgets the user ID or password of their account,  the link just below the login fields will help and would redirect the cardholder to a simple form that would help Chase to retrieve lost or forgotten information.

Activate the card

To activate the Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa credit card, the cardholder must complete a series of forms provided. The cardholder must follow six steps: identification, identification code, password, legal agreements, services and confirmation

The first phase, Identification, requires the cardholder to provide the following information:

  • Chase credit card number
  • Social Security number
  • Selected user ID (created new for this page)

After entering this information, the cardholder can click “Next” to continue the process until the activation and creation of the account is complete.
