This card is issued by Bank of America. If you travel frequently to finance your next vacation paying the essentials on a daily basis, the Virgin Atlantic MasterCard credit card can is a good option. It allows you to earn Flying Club miles with each purchase.

Features of Virgin Atlantic MasterCard credit card

Cardholders earn 3 Flying Club miles per $1 on Virgin Atlantic purchases and 1.5 Flying Club miles per $1 on all other purchases. Cardholders in good standing receive up to 15,000 bonus miles for every anniversary.

A signup bonus of  20,000  Flying Club miles after first purchase. Cardholders can also earn up to 5,000 Flying Club miles when they add additional cardholders.

Annual Fee is $90

Cash Advance APR is set at 17.24% APR for direct deposit or check cash advances. 24.99% APR for bank cash advances.

Cash Advance Fee is Either $10 or 3% of the transaction for direct deposit or check cash advances. Either $10 or 5% of the transaction for bank cash advances

Late Payment Fee is Up to $38

Purchases APR is set at 14.24% APR

Requirements

To be eligible to receive this card, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Have a credit history without recent bankruptcy.
  • Provide a residence address.

Step 1: Visit the Virgin Atlantic MasterCard page. Read the card information carefully, then click the blue “Request now” button to continue.

Step 2: Enter your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club number. If you are a current Bank of America customer, click the “Save time and complete the request” link to automatically import your address and other personal information.

Step 3: For a non current Bank of America customer, enter your name, home address, primary phone number and email address manually. To compete with the personal information section, enter your country of citizenship, current country of residence and date of birth.

Step 4: In the employment section, select the description that best suits your employment status from the drop-down menu and answer the additional questions that are required in your situation. Enter your total annual income, basic income, estimated liquid assets and monthly charge for housing.

Step 5: Adding a second card holder gives another person permission to debit the account. If you wish to do this, check the box next to “Add cardholder” in the additional options section. To complete this process, you will need the full legal name of that person, your relationship with you and the PESEL number, date of birth or address.

Step 6: Check the box that confirms that you have read and accept the terms of the Virgin Atlantic MasterCard credit card. Click the blue “Check your information” button. This will open a page where you will be asked to confirm that your information is accurate before sending it to Bank of America to approve the loan.

How to log into Virgin Atlantic MasterCard Credit Card

Users must first go to the Bank of America homepage to initiate the sign-in process. There, users must enter an online ID and an access code for the fields provided, and then click Log In.

Forgot password or username

To retrieve your login information, click on the most appropriate link for your forgotten password and forgot your password. Also, If you have forgotten your online identification, click  the Forgot my ID button, enter the complete card number (or account number), the complete social security number (or tax identification number) and the password. Click Continue to start the download process.

Activate the card

There are two ways to activate your new Virgin Atlantic MasterCard credit card received. You can call Bank of America directly at 1 (315) 724-4022 or you can register using the online portal. To register using the web portal, click the “Secure activation” link and then click the Register button in the secure login window. On the next page, you must provide the full account number (or card number), the complete tax identification number (or social security number) and then click Continue. Then you will have to create an online ID and an access code, as well as establish the security settings before the activation process is completed.
